I love the white dial HU-01 but am selling the black dial version unworn. Not too keen on the diamond numerals on the final version though. It is the Breguet numerals in my opinion that give the watch its character.
I also bought two Moonswatches for my son. He became a Speedmaster fan as a result. I think this collaboration with AP will do good for future collectors of the „real“ watches! Personally, I would also like to see a Breguet Type XX x Swatch!
I’m not against hype, but I’m not particularly for it either—it doesn’t matter that much to me. That said, I do think it’s generally a positive thing, because it likely attracts a lot of new customers. People might initially be drawn in by so-called hype
but I would always prefer Breguet for guilloché dials. Breguet has implemented this craftsmanship most impressively in its dials. For example, the two Breguet Marine 8818 (guilloché MOP dial) and 5817 as partner watches.
I actually much preferred the supremely grainy 1921 dial, with the gorgeous contrasting blue Breguet numerals!! I wasn't honestly expecting that to be the case so easily, but the delicately elegant and detailed nature of that dial can ONLY be appreciated
This one is way too classic Thats is something you can appreciate when you grow up Those swatches are aimed at a much younger public ( teenagers). And that specific Breguet X swatch is not what they want. A type XX might be better And also I think Breguet
